Your shortlist stays in your browser

The catalogue stores up to two selected variety names in your browser’s local storage so your shortlist survives a refresh. It contains no name, email address or account identifier. Use “Clear” in the shortlist bar or clear this site’s browser data to remove it.

Filters and comparisons run in your browser. There are no advertising pixels, signup forms or payment forms in this version of Berry Atlas. The hosting service adds the performance-measurement script described below.

Visiting the site

Like other websites, delivering a page involves network information such as your IP address. Berry Atlas is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes request information to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its data-handling practices. Cloudflare also adds its Web Analytics script to measure page visits and loading performance. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and not using local storage to track visitors; our shortlist storage is separate. See About Cloudflare Web Analytics. No claim is made that browsing the internet is anonymous.

Plant photographs are served with the site rather than loaded from a nursery or social network. Following a source or image-credit link takes you to a separate website.

Nursery links

We currently receive no commission from nursery links and have no confirmed affiliate relationship. We do not sell plants or handle nursery orders. Availability, shipping eligibility and purchase terms must be confirmed with the merchant. External sites have their own privacy policies.
